The climb to Mount Ararat takes a minimum of 4 days to reach the summit, with two camps along the way. Anyone in good physical condition can comfortably reach the summit. The best weather conditions are in July, August, and September.
We will meet you at Ağrı, Iğdır, or Van Airport and transfer you to Doğubayazıt. Overnight accommodation will be at a comfortable 3-star hotel.
Transfer to Eli Village at 2,200 m. Depending on snow conditions, the hike will take 3-4 hours to reach Camp I at 2,700 or 2,800 m. Overnight stay in tents at Camp I.
After breakfast, hike from Camp I to Camp II at an altitude of 3,200 or 3,700 m, depending on snow conditions. The trek will take 3-4 hours. Overnight stay in tents at Camp II. Early sleep is necessary to prepare for the summit climb.
The summit climb begins very early in the morning (1:00 or 2:00 a.m.). After 7-10 hours of trekking, we will reach the summit of Mount Ararat at 5,137 m. Enjoy breathtaking views before descending back to Camp II for rest, meals, and equipment collection. Then continue descending to Eli Village at 2,200 m, where vehicles will be waiting to transfer us back to Doğubayazıt. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to Ağrı, Iğdır, or Van Airport, marking the end of the program.
